Meet These Bonded Brothers – A Special Pair Looking for a Patient Home 💛🐾
These two sweet brothers came to me in November 2023 from Shadowwood MHP. A kind woman had been caring for them — she made sure they were fixed and looked after — but she was forced to sell her home due to a park buyout and rising rent. That’s when she reached out for help, and I took them in.
In an unexpected twist, I discovered that their dad, Sammy, was already in my care.
When they first arrived, they were incredibly scared — they wanted nothing to do with me. They’d hide or keep their distance until I left the room, then come out to eat and play. It took months of gentle patience before they began to trust me enough to accept pets.
Now, nearly two years later, they’ve come such a long way. They let me love on them, enjoy affection, and they get along wonderfully with other cats. But they still prefer not to be picked up or held — they’re loving, but on their own terms.
Their journey hasn’t been easy. They’ve faced a lot of change and uncertainty in their short lives, and that’s left them cautious. Because of how long it takes them to warm up to new people, I don’t feel comfortable sending them to a rescue or shelter. I worry they won’t get the time and patience they need.
So I’m looking for something special: A calm, stable, and understanding home — with someone who appreciates shy cats and is willing to let them blossom in their own time.
✔️ Both are neutered and vaccinated
✔️ Bonded brothers – they need to stay together
✔️ Great with other cats
✔️ Gentle, sweet, and low-maintenance once they trust you
If you’re looking for two quiet companions who will reward your patience with their gentle affection, these boys might be the perfect fit. Please reach out if you’d like to meet them or learn more. 💕
